WASHINGTON Cheap Minnesota Timberwolves Hats , Sept. 13 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. Congress on Tuesday sent White House a resolution condemning white supremacists, neo-Nazis and other hate groups following a white-nationalist rally that turned into deadly violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, last month.

The House backed the resolution by a voice vote Tuesday, one day after the Senate's voice voting in favor with little fanfare.

The resolution is now presented to U.S. President Donald Trump, who has been widely criticized after he blamed "both sides" for the Charlottesville violence as well as his suggestion that some "very fine people" were among the white-nationalist marchers.

In the resolution, U.S. lawmakers urge Trump to denounce "White nationalists, White supremacists, the Ku Klux Klan, neo-Nazis, and other hate groups."

It calls the death of counterprotester Heather Heyer a "domestic terrorist attack," recognizing she was killed with another 19 injured after a car allegedly driven by a neo-Nazi slammed into a crowd of demonstrators protesting the rally in Charlottesville on Aug. 12.

The resolution also calls on the Trump administration to "use all resources available" to improve data collection on hate crimes and "address the growing prevalence of those hate groups in the United States."

The bill was negotiated on a bipartisan basis by Virginia's congressional delegation.

NANJING, China, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- China's Liang Xioajing won the women's 100m after race favourite Ewa Nikola Swoboda of Poland was disqualified for a false start.

Swoboda was first ranked after the qualification round with a PB of 11.30s, but appeared to tumble forward in the moments before the start and was disqualified. She was ushered from the track, very visibly upset.

When the race was restarted, Liang clocked 11.65s to lead home ahead of Paraskevi Andreou of Cyprus and Sam Geddes of Australia.

"I really enjoyed the race," said Liang. "When I was on the track there was so much applause, so I felt really excited. I didn't feel any pressure today. I just wanted to do my best. I never thought I would be standing on the podium today.

"I didn't expect that the Polish athlete (SWOBODA) to be disqualified today. I just wanted to run as fast as I could and I wanted China to be proud of me.

"I want to dedicate this gold medal to my family. I love the Chinese people. Thank you for your support," added the 17-year-old.

Andreou said she was pleased to win silver.

"I felt like it was the first race of my life," she said.

"My timing is not very good but it's ok - I still won the bronze medal. I'm very happy with that. I dedicate this to my family first and then my coach."

In the women's discus, Sun Kangping set a personal best of 52.79m to win the gold. Al'Ona Byelyakova of Ukraine recorded 51.64m for silver and Lara Kempka of Germany 50.70m for bronze.
